My doctor is starting me on 50mg of Nucynta er a day. I was on Subutex. She made me go cold turkey and the withdrawals were awful. I happened to have a some 30 mg ms contin er stashed away. So I had to take them to control the pain. I know it was not the wisest choice. But my question is. When can I start taking nucynta after taking a taking a ms contin. Can I take them 8 hours apart? I did not see any major interactions between them. I know it's not the best way to go but I do not want to have withdrawals. Any responses would be appreciated.

50mg nucynta aint enough after subutex. Thats just a fact. You need a bigger dose. 100mg x2 a day.

I agree. I tried it last night and hardly felt it. Woke up with horrible withdrawal symptoms. Going to go against doctors orders and start taking it twice. Hoping I can up my prescription at the next visit. This sucks.
