Switching from morphine to opana

I was recently taking 100mg of mscontin every 12 hours, my doctor switched me to opana because of a rash. They converted the dose to 20mg of opana. Im going through slight withdrawals, headache nausea cramps pain etc. and i went to the opana website and converted the dose with their conversion chart. and it said i should go to 34mg of opana every 12 hours, which means i should be on 30mg pills instead of 20 right? why would he lower it like that?
 
I would try that, but i cant afford another prescription of it. 60 of the 20s and 95 of my roxycodone 15s came to over 415 dollars. I would really like to show him and print it, but even if he did write a new script and take my old, i sadly wouldnt have the money for it for a month or so. What should I do as far as these withdrawals go. i still have some 60mg ms contin i was thinking about tapering down to that from 100mg THEN starting my opana. do you think that would be a good idea? I dont have the rashes on the 60mg mscontin. And I dont want to overuse my roxys for obvious reasons.

if you start getting really low, you might be able to get a little more out of your opanas by snorting them, might help you make it to the end of the month if you control yourself
 
I tried snorting it and it just gelled up in my nose and hurt like hell. And i cant afford another script. i have no insurance and this script was around 300 bucks. i dont have that kind of money til next month. I wish they had like a refund type thing for doctor screw ups.
 
even that opiate conversion tool said i should be at around 30mg of opana. and thats the separate conversion tool, not the one on the opana website. luckily i have promethazine for the nausia so i can at least keep my meds down. last time i was dosed wrong i couldnt keep my meds down and went into full withdrawal and ended up in the ER for the night. Or were you talking about snorting the mscontin? i still have maybe 15 of them. the 60mg ones. i was thinking of just dosing down to that then switching to the opana. or maybe taking both then gradually reduce the amount of morphine i take til i just am taking the opana
 
This morning instead of taking just one, I took 2 of the 20mg. I took them at about 9am EST. and then consumed leftover pizza, ive been buzzing for about 2 hours, and i got the opiate itch for the first time in years. I dont even need my roxys at this dose. wow.
