So I've been working on quitting heroin. I was using about a gram a day for a while. I ended up getting an infection in my heart from shooting up (endocarditis) a few weeks ago. and had to spend a few weeks in the hospital. They put me on Methadone to help with my withdrawing and tapered me down. When I got discharged I got a prescription of a weeks worth of Methadone. I've tapered myself down to 10mg every other day, but I'm running out. I'm doing outpatient treatment and have to go to an infusion center every morning for the next few weeks to get IV antibiotics for the infection, so I have no way to make it to a clinic while they're open. I know I'll withdraw if I run out and have nothing so I want to try Kratom. I know there are different strains of it so it depends on the strain and all that. But roughly how much of what kind of kratom would be equal to 10mg methadone?
Or any other kind of advice on switching would be greatly appreciated!
