I'm use to taking 10mg of Oxycodone IR . I have been doing this approximately once a week (maybe less) for the past 2 months.
I would like to switch over to OxyContin (OxyNeo here in Canada), because I was in a motorcycle accident and messed up my arm, which is now infected
. I'm taking Cefalexin 500mg 4 times a day for the infection.
I was in the ER last night and they cleaned it up and SCRUBBED the wound.... that fucking hurt so bad. Anyways, right now I'm still feeling the pain and wasn't given anything for it other than some polysporin and the antibiotics...
So, would 10mg of OxyNeo be substantial in matching 10mg of IR ? Or should I take more because of the time release ??
Can someone explain to me how the time release works exactly , as in how much is released over a certain period of time ?
(I am seeing my doc tomorrow for additional information / check up, but in the meantime I would appreciate some feedback here)
