Switching from Adderall IR (50mg/day) to Ritalin IR (50mg/day) tomorrow... TIPS?

Switching from thre adderall to methyphenidate due to some urinary retention issues.... Can anyone share their experiences on how these two psychostimulants differ? (not in chemistry, but as a end user). THANKS!!!!!

bad idea getting off adderall and switching to ritalin. ritalin has a much shorter duration, u wll need to redose more unless u get time release, u will experience a lot more negative side effects than the adderall. my first stim i got RXed was ritalin when i was 14, i loved it and hated it, i began sniffing it, i would go through 60 pills in one night, then feeling psychotic, hearing music playing very faintly, extreme paranoia, i wouldnt eat, wouldnt sleep. when i took it orally, for about 2-4hours MAX it helped me study buti was anti social and didnt wanna be aorund too many people. when i swithced to adderall, its duration was of 8-12 hours, i has social tendendcies, i talkeds to more people comfortable, i as able to concentrate on homework, barely any negative sid eeffects, except when it wore off, i would eat, drink water, take vitamins, and just relax, or pop a valium to sleep. taking ritalin at RXed doses i found not very beneficial in school at all, it helped a little bit, and found myseld tkaing aother tablet by 12(noon), when it wore off id id experience a crash even taken at RXed dose, depression, muscle tension,. when i switched to adderall, and taken at RXed doses, i was calk, i can focus, concentrate, socialize with people, evene at food if i wanted to, which forced myself to, effects lasted from 7am-2pm, of course when it worre off i felt crashy a bitbut thats normal for any 1 taking a stimuljnt with potential of abuse. ritalin has more of a cocainish buzz, feindish feeliing, after all cocaine and ritalin effect the brain the same EXACT WAY, the only diffference is cocaine reaches the BBB (blood brain barrier) alot faster than ritalin, and of cours eritalin had a longer half life...adderall just made me feel open sociable and able to get school work done, ritalin made me anti social, did school work, and got irritable, and depressed
