Not sure if this has been asked and sorry if it has been but I really didn't know how to put this into proper search terms. To start off im a 22 year old male about 5"8 130 pounds i've been using opiates regularly for the better part of two years now. Started off using opana and moved more to H when the abusable opana's went off the market for the most part. Because of this i'd say about a year ago i started using my opiates iv anywhere from 3-4 bags a day of some pretty high quality Heroin 2-3 times a week and up until about 6 months ago for the rest of the week i would just deal with the withdrawals and continue on with my habit again when i got paid.

For about the past 6 months i have also been using suboxone to get through the rest of the week so 4-5 times a week anywhere from 4-6 mg's a day sometimes less but normally around those amounts. Finally to my question if i were to cease all opiate use how long would i expect to be in physical withdrawal for? I know I'm not going to be able to get an exact answer but what I'm more looking for is someone with similar use patterns as me that eventually just stopped using all together.

You're fully physically dependent therefore expect "full-blown" withdrawal.

The acute symptoms can be anywhere from 3-5 days. The post-acute symptoms, the most important part to manage to avoid relapse, could last from months up to a year in your case.

Again though, as you mentioned, these are rough figures.
