Swim snorts adderall xr with strange delayed affects. Swim is asking for help!

My car swim loves to take adderall but he usually only takes it once a month. Swim got 7 20mg adderall xr yesterday he was very excited. Swim likes to snort his adderall that's just how swim was first taught by his swim friends to take it so that is just swims favorite way to take it. So swim crushed up his two of his pills into what he thinks is a fine enough powder he thinks it is possible that a few beads could have survived but swim thinks that it is a very small amount.


So swim snorted it and felt the drip as normal. But swim does not get a strong high he gets a very week high that lasts for an hour then swim waited and waited for what he thinks was over 2 and half hours for the high. Finally swim does not think it is coming so he pops two more pills then what he thinks was 30 to 45 mins later he starts to feel a very strong rush. Swim is not sure if it was the pills he popped or if it was the pills he snorted and the pills he popped that he felt. Because swim does not understand why he does not feel anything for so long when he snorts them.

So swim is very happy and speeds the night away snorting one more pill about 4 hours later. Swim figures he will wait to take his last two pills until he starts coming down so he can get the most out of his speed. swim does not think he has a tolerance since he only does this once a month with about the same amount of pills give or take 1 or 2 and they are always the same mg. swim did take five 7.5mg hydrocodone but he started taking it at the beginning of the week and did not take it the day he got his Addie's. Swim did take 30 mg codine pills with his speed.

Swim is not sure if any of those pain killers would matter to why he is getting such a delayed affect but swim just wants to make sure he tells you just in case it does. So swim waited about 5 to 6 hours to take his last two pills. He crushed them up and snorted them he noticed that he had a slight burn but it was not as strong as the first burn so swim knew his nose was still kinda num.

swim believed he got a very nice drip and was thinking he was going to be feeling pretty good again. Until he got the very weak high to start out with again. Swim still has a very light speed but 40mg should give swim a very good speed he thinks. Swim says it has now been just about 4 hours since he snorted the two pills. Swim says to remember that he took a total of 100mg before this so he is not sure if this is why he is feeling nothing.

But swim did wait 6 hours. Swim would also like to say that he has hypothyroidism which makes his thyroid run slower. Swim says from what he has read if the thyroid runs slower not only does it slow down swims metabolism but also even how fast his brain works from what swim read. Swim has had hypothyroidism for years but does not take his meds.

Swim wonders if he could have a very delayed reaction and if there is any chance swim is going to start speeding from the 40mg he snorted 4 hours ago. Swim apologies for how long this is but swim really wants some input on what you think could be happening, swim just wanted to make sure he did not leave out anything. Swim would like to add one last thing and say he weights over 200 pounds. But swim does not see how that could stop him from being high when swim has had a much stronger speed just doing 20mg. Swim. Also forgot to add that he has been up for over about 28 hours now.

OP, you need to break up your text into paragraphs or nobody will finish reading what you have written.

I have experienced a similar delay when insufflating extended release amphetamine salt capsules. I don't know if it's normal, but at least you have some more empirical evidence to know that you are not alone. It's possible that even if the "beads" seem to be completely pulverized, you have only defeated a fraction of the time-delay mechanism.

It's also possible that you snorted a little bit to strongly and swallowed a good portion of your drug. That's not really a bad thing, considering that the oral bioavailability of dextroamphetamine isn't that bad.

Swim said he thanks you very much for your reply. He also went onto say that he spent hours looking everywhere for someone who also had this strange delayed effect.


Swim said that he could only find a couple threads with people who said they had delayed effects. But none of those threads were about snorting. He then said that they had all taken it orally and that they were not taking it recreationally. Swim now thinks he has a rare reaction because he could not find one thread on the internet describing what was happening to him. He was also wondering if you remember how long your longest delay lasted. He said that he wonders what causes the delay.

Swim said that if he could figure out what's causing the delay that maybe he could stop it. He did say that everyone reacts differently to certain drugs and that maybe he just got unlucky on how they affect him. Swim said if that is the case he believes that he could do nothing about it.

In my case, when I experienced this effect, I ended up getting high, it simply took a longer amount of time. Being that I ended up being high in the end (not bunk pills), my selective memory chose to remember the fact that I was high, more that the weird delayed onset effect.

Seeing as mood-altering substances can have such a strong effect on our short/long term memory, people are less likely to bring up a problem like this in the end. If they had say, snorted an adderall and not felt any effects whatsoever, you would probably be much more vocal about the problem. Does that make sense?
