Flying fairies and singing katydids
Running through another field
My home is where my heart is
And here I am
The sun falling to sleep and yawning spreading the clouds out in colorful streams
The moon peaking over the other side waiting to rise and shine in the light the sun always leaves for her dear friend
Lightning bugs follow me so I can't lose my way
And the colors of the sky take me away
I get lost in the soft pink, then the mellow purple, then gradually the yellow that hides in beneath slowly weaving in to the others
It is like a sky of melting cotton candy
The flowers smell like happiness
Between the two, it is like a day being wrapped up in love
The earth below me cool on my bare feet
These fields have seen me more times than any other place in this world
How can I be sad in this place
I run in the dark forest
The moon guiding me in a path of light and the fireflys follow close behind
I find the perfect place in a patch of grass by the creek and fall asleep like I used to do
And when I wake I know you will be there
To kiss me good morning and to love me all day
And maybe one day I will take you to my place of dreamful bliss
One day when we see more of life than we have
I can't wait for that day
It will be the day of truth and promises
But until then I still love you all the same my sweet dream baby
