swallowing a joint

Just wondering how the hell this kid pulled this off. Long time friend of mine whom I haven't seen in ages visited me yesterday and we had some bonding time. He actually swallowed the joint we smoked when it was really small without even a wince. Wouldn't it burn your tounge or something goin down your throat ?? Looked kinda cool though.

yah, eating the 'roach', done it a few times myself. your saliva just puts the thing out pretty much instantly. it doesn't hurt, but its not going to increase your high or give your buzz a boost. however, its a nice party trick. chase it down with your beverage of choice and impress friends and enemies alike...
