im getting surgery soon...but my tolerance to relieve pains is at least 20-30 mgs of oxy just to touch the pain...is that gonna fuck me when it comes to the after surgery pain?

It may, if your doctor is unaware of your opiate tolerance they may give you a dosage strength for somebody without an opiate tolerance.

Your best bet is to let your doctor/surgeon know you have an opiate tolerance before your operation.

Most (but not all) doctors won't ask why you have a tolerance to opiates, their primary objective is to make sure your pain is treated...or at least it should be.

I have the opposite issue. I have been clean from opiates for almose 5 years and am having surgery in may and want to refuse pain meds.
