Where do I position myself on a longboard when paddling?
I have been riding a big thick 9' 6" thick log and I am switching to a lighter smaller thinner more performance longboard. I knew where to position myself to paddle on my old board because there were stickers. Is the object to keep the board as flat as possible? Keep the nose not in the air but not going under swells? Where do I lye down on this board?

the general rule of thumb i think for any surfing paddling is to have the nose of your board no more than an inch out of the water... so basically just find the sweet spot.

If you have the board any higher than that you are pushing water, if your nose is under the water you are going to go no where.

basically just use trial an error, you will find the sweet spot soon enough, maybe once you find it mark it out with an X of wax where you can put your chin
