These are quotes from a television program, it's not an article.

British people can watch it through BBCs iPlayer. Others will have to use Torrents.

It was on last night at 3am. Watched the full thing. It was mostly pro-legalisation although obviously she was very inexperienced so the experiment was pointless.

This article is very biased. In the programme she receives 2 injections. One is pure THC, one is a mixture of THC & Cannabanoids. On the second injection she has the time of her life, goes into giggle-fits and is even quoted saying "I never want this to end". The experiment was meant to show how breeding strains specifically for their high THC content could have negative effects. Britain has some of the highest THC content, most seeds are advertised as producing a 18-22% THC plant
 
I couldn't finish the article, but this makes me a bit concerned how the governments in Europe are cracking down with the bullshit propaganda moreso than they are here in the states. Shit, our ads basically tell kids, "Yeah weed won't kill you or make you a psycho, but you will just be a pitiful loser." Obviously this is bullshit, but not the scare tactics I've heard lately from the other side of the pond. I hope America doesn't regress like you guys have.

What a pile of shite, in the tv show the woman in the coffee shop said 'I think you should start with this, it's not very strong Jamaican, take two puffs and wait a while'.


But the article is typical of the Daily mail. They like to leave out crucial words such as 'suggested' 'may' and 'evidence'.

So pot fucked her up. Bummer for her.

I blaze before I study. I can smoke in the morning and become completely straight again within a few hours. I smoke every night before bed and don't feel it in the morning.

There, I just debunked that article.
 
I bet if any of us experienced, tolerant pot-smokers went to amsterdam and smoked a fatty of the city's finest sativa, we'd all get super high. Now, somebody who hasn't smoked in 20 years, and probably was smoking some very low grade then, goes to amsterdam and smokes pot 20 times more potent than the stuff she remembers and is blown away? I'd sure be fucked up if I smoked 15-20 times as much I usually do in one sitting...

i did exactly that. just a small bit of some good sativa in amsterdam fucked me up that much, so that i could not order myself a coke at the coffeshop. i was just impossible. a week later i smoked pure joints of the same stuff :D
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but cannabinoids are not water soluble, thus rendering injection mostly useless.

I've heard of a lightweight before but DAMN!

Heh well I suppose it's understandable. If you go into the experiment with all these predetermined notions, with a drug so dependent on set, it's no surprise you freak out some (or, in this case, a whole freakin' lot).

Watching the documentary right now; it's pretty hokey and what-not but kind of entertaining too. I really liked the driving test "When stoned she was more cautious, and since her perception of risk didn't measure up to reality, more harmful." Haven't you ever heard "always drive as if the car in front and behind you is controlled by a lunatic"? First time I've ever heard a driver instructor talk about being too cautious.
