SuperBowl: New York Football Giants VS New England Patriots

Pats, but they won't cover the spread.

They'll win on a last second kick by Vinita---

er. . .

whoever the fuck it is. :)

^ If it comes down to the Pats kicker, Gustowski, we better be to the extra point line. I have zero confidence in him

Anyway this is going to be a kickass game ... if week 17 is any indication, we are in for a trench fight.

I have zero confidence in someone predicting a players' performance when they can't even spell his name correctly.

i think it will be closer than what most of you think. i don't think the teams have changed a whole lot since week 17, where the giants had a real shot at winning that one.

still i'll be shocked if eli pulls it off. pat's by 6 or 7.

That sounds about right...I'd even say Pats by up to 10.

Vegas has the Pats at -12.5 for an opening line, so if I bet, I'll be on the GMEN.

the only way the Giants can win is if their defensive line can put pressure on Brady while their secondary is still in a cover 2. we have seen that it is foolish to try and blitz Brady this year. luckily for the G-Men they do have one of the league's better pass rushes.

Patriots by 7, although this is the only time I will be rooting for an NFC team.

The Giants came close to beating the Pats in that regular season game, and the GMen are playing even better now (their confidence is sky high). I'm not saying that if I had a gun to my head I'd pick the Giants to win, but I wouldn't say they have no chance.

I concur, specially if Eli continues to impress and Tom Brady takes a heaping, steaming pile of shit all over the field like he did in the AFC Championship.

After a 38-35 regular season finale how can you not at least give the G-Men a decent chance at an upset? Pats are obvious favorites, but I have to believe the line is a little overboard right now.

We'll see where the lines settles by next Sunday, and we'll see how the men on the field settle it all two Sundays from now.

If the G-MEN win I am going to pop a bottle of champagne!

while meditating on both of these teams I unknowingly focused on two of their star players. and I could not help to think, will they be able to play in the SuperBowl?

for the Giants, Michael Strahan. everyone knows that he has an affliction towards other black men, specifically married black men. this devious behavior is so rampant in the seedy streets of New York City that it has developed its own slang - a relationship on the "down low," or "DL." will Michael Strahan be mentally prepared to play in the SuperBowl or will he be distracted by Randy Moss's stunning physique on the other side of the ball?

speaking of Randy Moss, for the Patriots. he is currently in legal trouble and proving to the world that he might still be the abrasive bad boy he has no doubt worked very hard in his career to establish himself as. the New England Patriots have a tabula rasa that surpasses a vegan Buddhist monk. how can a team of such moral aptitude let this man play in the SuperBowl?

in a world where we have seen T. O. and Chad Johnson perform perhaps every post-TD stunt known to man, I think Moss can one up these guys.

by punching out a Giants cheerleader after running that slant for 6 =D

Should be a good game regardless of who wins. Patriots losing with a perfect season behind them would be pretty amazing.. winning would also be amazing though. Going to be a lot of fun to watch.

while i agree there are better kickers in the game, why zero confidence? he's in the top 10 by percentage of kicks made against attempts.

This game is setting up to be very reminiscent of Super Bowl 36 (2002), in my opinon. If you remember, the Rams stomped everyone that year, they were an offensive juggernaut ("The Greatest Show on Turf"), and I think they went into the Bowl at around a 14 point favorite. No one game New England a chance in hell, and they won the game outright. Could things work out the same way for the 2008 Giants or are the Pats of 2008 THAT dominant? I guess we will have to wait and see...:)
