This is a narrative story I had to write for english. Writing for english is boring cuz I have to try to write about things I dont really care for...newayz, here it is...
-------------------------------
The summer of seventy-nine was almost like a revolution into a new era and a New Year. We were one year before the eighties and no one knew quite what to expect. With so much change in the air, the hot summer got pretty wild. Late night parties with morning after consequences took up much of my weekend time. And mid day lounging followed by nighttime smoking. For this was my first summer without my parents around and I intended to make it the most carefree summer of my life.
Unpacking out truck and heading towards the beach house we finally felt the first signs of summer. The hot air christened my skin with the suns light directly against my head. It was everything I hoped for, a true paradise. I came from Kansas where the weather is mostly dry and the heat is even dryer. Coming to California for the summer was actually my idea, so was dragging my friends. And glad we all were to be in our exact destination, because California is a legend in my town for always having the most beautiful weather.
The first thing I did once everything got settled in was light up a joint. Smooth richness that flowed into my lungs like creamy milk, the experience was heightened by such a beautiful ocean with the most perfect sunset. It was on my first night that I met Klara, a girl I came to love. I was sitting on a chair in the front porch enjoying the view and the smoke when she walked up to the front steps. Glancing her way I smiled and said hi. (No one cared if you smoked on the beach in the late seventies because it just wasn’t as big of a deal as things are today.) She stepped onto the porch and sat in the chair next to me. She enjoyed my weed and my company. We talked until two in the morning about the most random things. I might have found it stranger to talk to a total stranger for so long if I wasn’t stoned, but what did I care. She was a beautiful girl talking to me; I don’t need a reason as to why it happened, it just happened.
Like rains of winter, the stars fell upon me as I smoked my last bowl before going to bed. I couldn’t believe I made it this far and I met such an amazing girl. My life was changing and I was growing up, the world was always changing and people are always changing. That first night I slept without my parents in the other room was a sign of me reaching a new age of maturity. I was my own man and my own master. Finally, after all of the years, I learned to let go and look out for myself. It wasn’t a huge event or even a single event that lead to my new outlook on life, but just breaking away from tradition and getting into the real world, California style.

Hey! Nice! Descriptive, flowing, emotional... Better get a good mark for it...
...Now write the X-rated version where you and the girl get it on at the beach with a female volleyball team... ;)
