Suggest me some -snes- games

it wasnt a remake, yo :D
'twas all of the previous ones (and the "lost levels" was the jap version of sm1 or 2)

and you can buy really cheap cartridge converters to enable play of NES games.

well, i like it, okay, so we can agree to disagree.
you might be an 8-bit purist or whatever, but to be perfectly honest, I like nothing
better than to snap a fat bongload and proceed to run around the mushroom kingdom rescuing princesses & killing turtles.

& its entirely within the point. you can have a SNES, and play NES games with a cartridge that costs less than $20.
the SNES was made in 1990, they don't even make parts anymore so how can you complain? :P

ill buy you one of these if you cheer up -

Hey man, I love those games, I grew up with those games. Those games are my shit. But what I don't support is entirely unneccesary remakes of flawless games.

Because it's the principle of the matter. And because I still play that's why. As a fan and consumer of Nintendo products for over 10 years I think I have the right to complain about their products when I feel it is warranted.
Nintendo promised backwards compatibility but got too caught up in playing catch up with Sega(who had long since gotten into the 16 bit market) to deliver. Were we, the gaming community, so obsessed with playing the newest, fastest, loudest games that we'd forgotten all about the NES and it's amazing games already? Apparently :\
Well fuck that.
At the very least, these games deserved better treatment than what they got. If you actually play the original NES games side by side with the new SNES ones you'll see what I mean. The physics have been butchered and several classic glitched were removed. The worst however is the addition of the multiple save files. When I was a kid, we played SMB3 from start to finish in 1 sitting. If you couldn't beat it, then fuck you. Simple as that.

The thing I liked about allstars was that you could, once you've been to each world, start from that world by selecting a saved game. In world 5 you could beat the first two levels, get the bear suit from the mushroom house, save and quit, repeat till you have like a bar or two of those filled up then go beat world 8.

lol I just read D-9s post. :D

fuck me.
