Hi All,

It's been a long time since I visited BL and I hope you're all doing well.
Some of you might remember that wild thread I created (caffeine, safe but counter-productive stimulant), where I started out with a sudden aversion/depressive reaction to caffeine in 2023 but as time went on, I began recovering my pleasurable response to caffeine and now it's my top drug again. Looking back, my experience makes a lot of cence given that I suffered from anhedonia in 2023, and since caffeine needs endogenous dopamine to function, it was probably not performing very well in my brain at that point.
But this is where things get strange. Nicotine, which I've always found very rewarding is suddenly making me feel extremely apathetic, sick, strongly dicreases my urge to move, anxious and even depressed untill it wheres off. This started this year even though thanks to God I'm not suffering from Anhedonia. It's as if something just switched and I don't like nicotine anymore. Has anyone else experienced something like this. On a side note, caffeine is now more rewarding and functional for me than it ever has been.
