Hi.

I've had pretty bad nasal congestion within the last few years without having a bad cough etc, though there's been phlegm sometimes. To get me through the day and especially nights, I've used sudafed nasal spray until it has cleared up.

Recently, around 2 months ago, I went through about a 3 week stint of using it and stupidly at times squirted the stuff up my nose about 4 or 5 times, using it really casually until it cleared.

Ever since, I initially experienced bad head aches for the first couple of days (of when the symptoms occured) and ever since have been feeling shaky (the shakiness began suddenly when I woke up one morning), kind of uncoordinated. I'm a regular gym user, lifting weights and such and for the first week or so of the symptoms occurring I was able to train and maintain strength and even improve whilst feeling a little off. I thought it would pass but it hasn't. I experienced vomiting after about 2 weeks in the morning after my first meal for 3 days (I only continued to use sudafed after a few days of these symptoms) and then I felt sick again about 2 weeks after that. I still feel shaky and I've had blood tests done and they have been all clear. I can't train any more but I can still play tennis and when I do so, it's pretty much the only time I don't feel shaky (or as shaky).

I've to wait another week before I can see my GP. I am becoming convinced that this is related to the sudafed nasal spray I was using but is it normal to still feel like this 6 weeks on?

Do you think the spray is related to the way I feel?

Any feedback or comments would be appreciated as I'm pretty paranoid.

(I didn't know what prefix to use)
