For a person that's never taken these before (or anything) how quickly do these sublingual things work? Will the lowest dose (2mg) knock me out completely straight away?
Thanks for the reply. Is that 30-40 mins now or when you'd never taken them before? For me personally 30-40 min taken sublingual. And I'm leaning to the side that 2mg my knock you out. but not like "doof" hit the floor passout but most properly will get to nodville quickly
If first time as mentioned 1mg should do the trick.
When I was on bupre 500mcg 2x a day I loved it for its speedy effect but fuct with sleep at night even when taking 200mg Quetiapine.
Bupre is one of those opiods that doesn't hit everyone the same.
The nod is what most people like but yes no real euphoria. If you want something in those lines roa must be changedI took a 2mg buprenorphine without having tolerance to opioids. It made me to borderline-nod, kinda zoning out at some times but it didn't fully knock me out and it lacked the euphoria of other opioids.
Considering asking my Dr. for Subutex prescription for treatment resistant depression. Does it work and if yes what's the optimal starting dose? The nod is what most people like but yes no real euphoria. If you want something in those lines roa must be changed
I too considered to ask my psych for that but with my history of drug use there probably would be no chance of that.Considering asking my Dr. for Subutex prescription for treatment resistant depression. Does it work and if yes what's the optimal starting dose?
This is just my desperate attempt to survive a few more months as none of antidepressants works (been on 17 of them from each category).
Personally I would stick to micro doses as those have the smallest chance of ending in a crippling addiction. The 0.4mg that were used could be a reasonable starting point. Also chances are you would suffer signs of overdose such as nausea when going considerably higher than that."The results of our meta-analysis do not support the use of buprenorphine as monotherapy for depression. However, there is limited evidence to suggest that buprenorphine is a promising adjunctive therapy for the rapid relief of depressive symptoms among patients with MDD and TRD, especially for those with a comorbid opioid use disorder [23]. When administered in combination with samidorphan at a dose of 2 mg/2 mg, buprenorphine significantly improved depressive symptoms after 4 weeks among patients with inadequate response to one or two antidepressants [11, 19]. An open label trial with a dose of 0.4 mg showed a significant decrease in depression severity in the first 3 weeks [16]. However, one study suggests that micro doses of buprenorphine (0.2 - 1.2 mg) mono product may not confer the same degree of improvement [8, 17]."
Yeah subutex I took for my habit, maintenance but I use to get as low as 500mcg insuffalated and boom mood lift and slight racey high.Considering asking my Dr. for Subutex prescription for treatment resistant depression. Does it work and if yes what's the optimal starting dose?

Were you ever depressed while on Subutex? For me it was usually 20-30 minutes before I began experiencing discernible effects. I would really start feeling the entirety of the dose between 60-120 minutes and feeling the peak of effects around 3-4 hours in. For someone with little to no tolerance for Opioids, this should last at least 12 hours. Higher dosages like 4mg+ can leave a novice user sedated for up to 24 hours straight pretty easily.
So between 10mg Oxycodone p/d and minimum dose of Subutex, which one would you recommend?Yeah subutex I took for my habit, maintenance but I use to get as low as 500mcg insuffalated and boom mood lift and slight racey high.
So yes it will work but will come with side effects that is mostly addiction. So keep that in mind.
Have you tried natural supplements, there are some that actually helps.
Are we talking life. What time frame, main goal but bupre for me but oxy at even 5mg cab give maybe what you looking for, it's just the duration or risk of addiction to keep in mindSo between 10mg Oxycodone p/d and minimum dose of Subutex, which one would you recommend?
Sublingual dosing works significantly faster than oral, especially with my little trick I would use a alcohol based mouthwash before dosing. Though it sounds like you are "abusing?" Subutex and are possibly opiate naive, or at least not dependant. PLEASE PLEASE er with extreme caution. I gave my roommate a 2mg piece of a subutex tablet after he'd been opiate free for a few years, and he was extremely dangerously high and running the risk of overdosing fatally. These funky lil partial agonists are deceitful in how fucked up they really can make youFor a person that's never taken these before (or anything) how quickly do these sublingual things work? I've been on 10mg oxy for almost 2 years. It keeps me depression free for around 3-4 hours. I was wondering would Subutex cover the whole day?Are we talking life. Short and sweet and from personal exp only, yes...I've been on 10mg oxy for almost 2 years. It keeps me depression free for around 3-4 hours. I was wondering would Subutex cover the whole day?

In Slovakia not even addictologists can give me Subutex, psychiatrist would send me right into rehabI too considered to ask my psych for that but with my history of drug use there probably would be no chance of that.
This paper might be of use for you.

I actually tried microdosing buprenorphine myself a couple of years back. I'd say it improved my mood. I was also taking a more active role at work and I did not get dependent after a week or two. A considerable downside were the pinheads. Anybody trained could easily spot I'm on an opioid. And yeah there is the possibility of ending in a long and painful addiction in addition to TRD, at least at a higher dosage, so please be warned.
