^ Thank you.
I don't want this to turn into a "what traits make you want to sleep with someone" thread. I really am just looking for everyday non-sexual things/actions/interests/etc that suggests that a person would be really good in bed. Think of it this way: What makes someone a good cook? Not just someone who can make you something that tastes good, as a man who heats up a pop-tart isn't necessarily a good cook. And a woman who puts her heart and soul into cooking you a waffle, but it tastes fucking awful, isn't a good cook. A good cook is someone who knows a lot about food and preparing a recipe to delight the senses, has a general appreciation for the idea of enjoying eating, as well as surrounding that meal with other sensual and entertaining things to complete the dining experience. Now the person could be not your type at all, and could be a heartless evil bastard at the end of the day, but as a cook s/he is pretty good. This is what I'm asking about in the bedroom - someone who is good at creating a sexual experience. And I want to know what everyday things can act as indicators that a person would be good at delivering the sexual experience.
So this can segway into my example. Someone who combines sensual stimulation would be good in the bedroom. For example, if someone actively thinks about what music to play during dinner, or wants to burn certain candles during certain times of the day, then that person probably thinks about how to more completely make a partner enjoy sex (going to touch the genitals, but also do X, Y and Z to compliment that pleasure).
I like what MyFinalRest said about thinking that instrument players might have a similar passion in the bedroom as they do in performance.
Turn the question around on yourself. You can think of it like If I get my washboard abs or my buns of steel, people will want to be physical with me. But this says absolutely nothing about you making that person think that you'd be anything more than a nice body. Your abs or buns might just lay there and be boring. Likewise, treating a lady with respect and etiquette might lead to sex, but do respect and etiquette really say anything about your sexual ability? No, they more so indicate that you'd be a good long-term partner.
The thought experiment for me would be What can RL do to make a woman not think about sleeping with him for his body or for his appeal as a boyfriend, but because of the subtle hints he gives off that he knows a lot about how to make good sex even better?
Please someone understand what I mean! :D
