Has any here any advice on substituting poppy pod Tea ? I made a taper and withdrawal a few weeks ago and have reduced its use substantially. Some times going for days with not needing poppy tea at all.
But I'm getting old and do need pain killer for a couple of ailments. I find poppy tea the best pain killer by far . I've never really used poppy tea for highs etc. More to combat pain or discomfort.

But Im finding supply's here in England very sporadic now. There was one regular reliable supplier now gone for reasons unkown.
there is Co- codomol available OTC here . Low dose tablets of codeine and paracetomol. I tried cold extraction but am amazed at the number required to achieve any benefit .
So Im wondering of an alternative to poppy tea. Yes, Kratom but it's banned here ..illegal. I found wild lettuce then I read it's dangerous for people with prostate problems. It seems we are designed to suffer pain ?

Is kratom legal in England? I know it's illegal in the UK but idk England doesn't seem to have to follow a lot of rules they set for others. Anyways if so that seems like a better bet than codeine because it's another blend of alkaloids rather than just one (pharmaceuticals)

Thanx for your reply...no. As I wrote, it's banned here ...(what isn't ?) it's all our gov has done...ban things. Makes them look like their actualy doing something.
is this why codiene doesn't seem to have much effect ? ie it's not a blend of alkaloids but just one ? Is that how it all works ?

I second using kratom for the withdrawal from poppy pods. It's really a miracle herb. You might not feel much of a high from it especially if you have a big tolerance to opium (which is what poppy pod tea is) but I guarantee you won't be in withdrawal as long as you use kratom. You need some red or green kratom. I recommend super maeng da. Maybe you can still order and get your package despite the ban since Ive saw a lot of reviews on it from UK. If kratom isn't possible for you then you should get on either suboxone or methadone as you probably also need something for your pain in addition to your addiction. Talk about it to your doctor but don't mention that you're doing poppy pod tea ( they might not take you seriously). Instead just say you're addicted to morphine. Good luck, that shit really sucks when you're withdrawing. I heard some say it's worse than heroin.

Hello, thanks for your message. Since I last wrote, obtaining pods here in England became a quest as main suppliers dried up. One or two have started selling but at 2 -3 times the price and questionable quality. So I’ve had no option but to reduce greatly and I wasn’t taking that much before.

I’m hardly getting any withdrawals now just a general down ness and lack of energy etc . But it’s taking a long time to adjust.
Anyway it feels safe having a small supply for when ailments flair up.
Apart from that I can get by with some CE co codomol.

Not what I planned at all but as things are I’m satisfied now.

Poppy seed tea? Idk if this would be better idea or not, I figure it's not as potent as pod tea otherwise codeine and kratom...I wish the s t ates had otc codeine tabs

Poppy seed tea?

That would probably be the obvious answer as I'm fairly sure seeds are available in the UK. Seed tea can be very strong indeed. I wouldn't recommended going the see tea route as it's extremely addictive, extremely variable in potency, and is an arse pain for various reasons.

Is medical cannabis a thing in the UK, OP? That might be a safer long-term option if possible.

To add to that, cooked flaked o is ridiculously easy to make. It's from PST and there are teks on here.. it, however, does qualify as manufacture of a controlled substance (what it's called here at least). Be very careful.
A quick question for anybody with knowlege. Does making tea count as this?

Nigeella saliva oil is a lifesaver when tapering or with drawing you can get it at Lebanese shop , it's kalonji and naturally reduces your tolerance to opiates , gel caps are betted though cause thymoquinone tastes vile!

Get good stuff. If you do, it's a tasty cooking oil. It isn't tq that tastes bad, it's the fact that shitty manufacturers never even attempt to separate the rotted seeds from the good ones, which can be done (for most seeds at least) by submerging a large portion if seeds in water, allowing to sit for a few minutes, and the full seeds sink, ones full of air stay on top.
If you dm me I'll send you the brand I use

It's a strong taste even or especially with the best quality, I'm an Arab I know my black cumin seed

nutmeg is nr 1. 2. kratom 3. some aminoacid i forgot the name of 4.APAP 5. black cumin seed oil

not a definition but a ranking

i do like to sprinkle the seeds not the oil on steak wih sesame seed , in non-medicinal doses it can be tasty I admit
