How is suboxone withdrawal in comparison to other opiate withdrawal? What is its severity? How long must someone use it, how frequent and what dosage will bring about sub WD?

SWIM has been using opiates (oxy and H, always insufflated, NEVER IV) for about 5 years now on and off and wants to quit for good but has some trouble and is hoping for some advice. Recently, SWIM has been trying to quit cold turkey SWIM but ends up relapsing within a week. So SWIM decided to use suboxone but doesnt want to trade in one drug for another.
SWIM took a whole 8mg/2mg strip of suboxone last night, 48 hours after the last use of H and woke up today feeling very well, no WD symptoms that usually cripple SWIM. SWIM is hoping not to have any more symptoms and is wondering what he can expect.

The most severe that SWIM experiences are crippling anxiety, aching joints, weak aching muscles, and diarrhea.
How long will the anxiety contiune for or is it permanent (ive had bad anxiety since before using) and how long until the diahrrea goes away?
If anyone has any advice in treating some withdrawal symptoms please please please share. The mental symptoms (anxiety) are much worse than the physcial which I can treat with OTC meds.
