Suboxone to Vivitrol

I did a quick taper off suboxone. Was off it in 15 days starting at 8mg. It's day 8 of no suboxone and I'm scheduled to get my Vivitrol shot tomorrow, but am starting to get kind of scared about getting it because of some threads where I've read bad things about it. Mostly scared of the depression and lack of being able to feel any pleasure at all that some have mentioned. Any suggestions or experiences would be much appreciated.
