Hey guys me again.

First day back on the Suboxone program here in my country.

I’m on a 2mg dose 3 hours ago and I’m so so sedated.

It did this to me last time I started it aswell but I remember it going away after a while.

i am like completely nodding off and there’s definitely respitory depression.

Although I can breathe still. Do you guys think coffee could help make me not so sedated? Honestly hate the sedation feeling. Happy to be back on Suboxone though

If you're feeling sedated and like your breathing is being effected by the dose you're on you should speak to your doctor and get it lowered. A little sedated is one thing but if its starting to effect your breathing its too much. Suboxone hits its peak plasma levels between 45minutes and three hours after you take it and then begins to slowly fall off. Its prolly gonna be a few hours atleast before you start feeling much less sedated. Definitely talk to whoever prescribes you about lowering doses or splitting them up during the day.
