Been taking 15-30mg oxycodone for months. Took a 8mg Suboxone for the first time today. Felt super high. However, I threw up 3-4 hrs after and can't eat. Still feeling super high, which I should be happy about, but after!16hrs now I'm starting to get really anxious. I've been reading too much online and now I'm afraid to withdrawal or throw up in my sleep.
Does anyone know the equivalent of 15-30 oxycodone to 8mg sub?
What are signs of overdose? (because I can't stop nodding but afraid to fall asleep alone) Please help aid my anxiety so I can go to sleep!!
When will this high wear off?
When can I go back to using my oxy?
Please help tonight I need to sleep!

I had A friend that tried this and she started out with 1 mg at a time because everything that we had read told us that "less is more" when you were dealing with Suboxone. She was very anxious the first day even only on 4 mg but it did stop her withdrawl she didn't take as much as you do so she was able to get by with 4 mg per day for several weeks and then weaned off . I believe if I were you I would just wait and then only take maybe 2 mg at a time maybe just an hour in between or something I know this isn't too much help but from what I have learned the doctors give people the 8 mg all at one time and it makes them feel horrible and then I don't want it anymore .I hope you do well good luck

Thank you. So my problem is I already took the 8mg yesterday morning. I'm still freaking high! I was up till 9am and slept maybe 3 hours. I don't like this high. I'm super anxious, hearts beating fast, nodding off, thirsty, paranoid, twitching.
When will this high go away?
I'm supposed to start a new job in 2 days!
Can I OD still?
Is there anything I can do to take this high away?
Please help!

A little late but hope this helps. You will start to come down soon. Just give it another 24 hours. The symptoms you are experiencing are those of a mild non life threatening overdose. 0.5 mg-2 mg should be plenty for a tolerance of 40-80 mg oxy. You have just experienced one of your first mild overdoses from a long acting opiate. The anxiety and sleep problems will go away after you come down.

Try and stay really hydrated and do not take any other sedatives. If you can drink something with some electrolytes in it that would be helpful. The respiratory depression produced by bupe is much less compared with other opiates. You are likely not in danger of dying. You can sleep on your side if you are worried about chocking on your vomit. You can also get a friend to check up on you. A quick walk to get the blood going could be beneficial in this situation. When first starting sub even with a large tolerance one should always take a tester dose of less then 2 mg to see if precipitated WD occurs or if the dose causes a strong narcotic effect.
