Anyone else try these two drugs together as a regimin for a past problem with heroin and also a great deal of social awkwardness which led to alcoholism that was intolerable which led to trying the heroin which quickly became intolerable or at least not affordable, and ineffective...(I still feel like maybe I was getting bad stuff)....but they say that's how it goes down......but anyway I only stayed on heroin 3 months and now though for all of these problems, SUBOXONE + LYRICA pretty much keep me feeling like a human being.

It isn't always a good thing at this point HA HA HA where am I in this life, what place or position do I hold?.....but I like the way these prescribed drugs work on me.

Does Lyrica make you experience more drowsiness and lack of energy when you take it with Suboxone?? My doctor has suggested that I should start taking Lyrica but I'm afraid it will mess with the energy I get from my Suboxone.

It may do, it may not... people react differently to both suboxone and lyrica/pregabalin. Why does your doc want you to try it? Best thing might be to have a go, if it doesn't work for you then stop! :)

Of course it is going to add sedation. It works by increasing a sedative neurotransmitter.

Opioid + Lyrica (Non-tolerant normal doses)= More sedation.

I get that it will add to sedation.....I just wanted y'all to know that it did more than most would want. I wasn't talking about high doses ofLyrica either. Anyway.....my doc wants me to try it for my anxiety and what he calls *mild Fibromyalgia*.

lyrica will synergize well with sub. in addition, lyrica isn't as sedative as benzodiazapines, but still mildly sedative(in a way IMO)

id love this combo, however i dont get the sub i deserve and gotta beg my friend to share. lyrica has been something of interest for me for quite some time. i think it could really help me, more than the celexa my GP has me on for anxiety.
