suboxone hitting me immediately - quick noob question SORRY

ok so I just took an 8mg subuxone strip. bear in mind before i took it i had 1mg klonopin 1mg ativan and 3 beers. Literally 5-10 minutes after taking the strip i'm already feeling a very slight euphoria. is this a placebo or is this really possible? i also hadn't eaten a damn thing today since I knew i was going to be getting some. so with all that said, is it possible that suboxone really can hit me this fast or am I just being an idiot thinkin' I"m high when it's just a placebo? thanks!

Well, depends on what you were on previously--and how long you stopped before taking the Suboxone. If you were taking the Subox for the first time--not sure why you would take the Benzo's first. You add too many variables to know how the Subox really affects you

I think its possible you felt some effects right away but generally its an hour before peak effects are reached. I'll feel a little something usually right after dosing but usually don't feel totally normal until an hour hour and a half if under the tounge. Snorting it yields pretty much the same results as sublingual but if I IV it then the peak effects are reached in only 10 minutes or so. It could have been mainly a placebo effect too but its not too farfetched to say you felt something in that short of time from taking it sublingually. Did you feel it stronger after an hour or so? Or was that about the peak after only 5 minutes?
