Suboxone Doc Contacting You Through Facebook?

Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I had a sub doc appointment two weeks ago with a follow up this monday. They were very nice there and seemed to really care.

So yesterday when I get to my phone I see that I have like twenty missed calls. All were from the same number except my father. I call my father and he tells me he got a call from my doc about an appointment on Monday. I guess I put him down as a emergency contact. My fault never thought they would call him though!

I call the doc office last night and had to reschedule anyways. I also ask them to not call my father anymore. I feal like this is none of his buisness and really dont want him to know about it. Then this morning I log into my facebook account and there are two messages from them there also! I guess they searched for me and sent a message assuming i was the right one. There are a lot of people on Facebook with my name.

Has anything like this ever happened to anyone else? The only thing that made me a little angry was them calling my father. I cant really get mad about them trying so hard to contact me. No other doc I have ever had would of called more than once. They surely wouldnt of searched for me on Facebook! They do seem to really care.

On another note I quit my sub treatment one week in. I could not handle the medicine. Even when I took a little crumb of an 8mg sub tab it would knock me on my ass. The conversion charts I have seen cant be right. I take like 60mg of oxy and barely feel it but like .5 or 1mg of sub and im out.

So I dont know what to do now. Follow up my sub doc appointment. There going to do a drug test when I go back and I will fell it. I would like to try it again but I felt real real weird for a whole week last time I tried it. I just want to feel normal but no matter how little I take I cant stay awake.

btw right now the minimum I can take is 30mg oxy 4 times a day.

Huh, what I am thinking of right now is called the "Blockade Effect"
hmmm here we go... i think this is what you are going through, if not, just tell me.

" switching from buprenorphine to other opioids is generally safe and can occur immediately. For users of Suboxone, it is advised to wait a few hours from the last dose before switching to other opioids to allow the naloxone in Suboxone to be eliminated from the body (it has a short half-life). Generally the new opioid will not be as strong or effective for several days until the remaining buprenorphine has been eliminated from the body. This is due to the blockade effect, where the buprenorphine is strongly bound to the opiate receptors in the brain and not allowing the new (full agonist) opioid to completely bind to and activate the receptors. This explains the phenomenon where Suboxone users trying to get high off of say oxycodone cannot until several days have passed since the last Suboxone dose "

Hope that helps

i never had a problem getting opiate effects after the bupe. i waited 24 hours.

i never figured out my dosage of bupe. no matter how much i took it seemed like too much. i swear i took as little as 0.25mg and it still made me nod out.

my opiate tolerance is not nearly as high as others but it can take 50mg of oxy to get me feeling pretty good. bupe shouldnt be doing this to me should it?

the only thing that i figured was when i took the bupe is was always in the morning before i went to work. my job is mostly sitting. so after i sit down i get real tired. ive noticed this happens to me with a lot of opiates. if im up walking i feel great but when i sit down they knock me out and dont feal as pleasent. maybe bupe has this effect even more than other opiates?
