I've been IV'ing 2mgs of suboxone daily for more than a year, how long does it take for suboxone withdrawals to hit you? when is the peak day of withdrawal symptoms? What should i expect in withdrawal symptoms around 65 hours after my last shot? thanks.

Up to seven days or so to fully manifest themselves. If you don't taper expect acute w/d to last up to a month or so. 65hrs into it you shouldn't be much into it yet. Then again probably around this time the acute symptoms will manifest, as you were IVing your sub. Thank the stars you're on a relatively low dose though.

Are you able to taper down before going off them? Tapering down to .25mg will go A LONG way to avoiding much of the w/d related pain and suffering. Then again, with the right meds and habits the w/d doesn't need to be all that bad.

The deal is I won't be able to buy suboxone on the street anymore and my supply is gone. I'm going to see a doctor on monday morning (it's friday night here as i write this). I'm hoping i'll be in a bad enough state of withdrawals for them to want to prescribe me suboxone but i'm worried i left it until too late. The doctor has to see me in physical withdrawal before he'll give me a script, right?

Thank the stars you're on a relatively low dose though.

Really? I cant quote the various bioavailabilty numbers or the ceiling dosage but from personal experience, any IV dose past 3mg a day didn't seem to make the slightest difference. I figured i had reached the ceiling. (note that this is chronic, daily usage)

Low dose as in you're not taking 24mg sublingually... Yes, the dr does have to see you in w/d, but when I saw my dr to get on subs I was only very mildly in w/d. Really just a bit of anxiety, insomnia, yawning and a bit of clammy hands. Certainly wouldn't have seemed to you average lay person that I was in w/d.

Good luck OP!
