does tagamet have any effect on plugged suboxone? would you guys rather plug it with tagamet or sublingual? and im on 4mg suboxone a day im thinking about plugging 12mg suboxone mixed with .5 xanax would that actually get me feeling nice?

Tagamet will have an effect on Suboxone no matter what ROA you use the Suboxone with. This is because Tagamet (cimetidine)'s potentiation properties come from the fact that it is a liver enzyme inhibitor (the P450 enzyme system, specifically CYP1A2, CYP2C9, CYP2C19, CYP2D6, CYP2E1, and CYP3A4 [source]). These enzymes are involved in the breakdown of many drugs, including buprenorphine [source].

We have no idea if it will have you "feeling nice" but its generally not advised to raise the dosage of one drug and then mix it with another drug, especially considering if both of them are depressants. Why not try mixing Tagamet with your normal dose of Suboxone and seeing how you feel then?

^ This.

It's not advisable to mix benzos with any other depressant. This has been the cause of countless deaths.
If you're going to mix the two and cannot be deterred, you need to take half your usual dosage of buprenorphine and a very small amount of benzos. However, even though mixing benzos and opiates/opioids is dangerous and even fatal many people report that mixing does not result in making you higher. In fact, the benzos actually can dull the opiate euphoria according to people who have taken the two together.

Sorry, but we're not here to help you get high on their prescribed medication. We can only tell you what's safe and what's definitely not safe. Buprenorphine has a ceiling effect at high doses. That means that taking higher doses produces no additional effects. So taking high doses to get high just won't work and you'll just be wasting your medication.

But yes, Tagamet is effective in potentiating your bupe. Just take your normal dose though, just like NT said.

I've been a long time IV user and in many recoveries from the dome, to subs, to plain old cold turkey. Subs really are a miraculous drug because it severely lowers your withdraws without letting you use again. Dome worked too but I had to get back on dope to quit dome. There's a lot of misunderstandings surrounding suboxone and I'm no doctor but I have used it a long time on and off going through relapse.

I've used IV dope for 6 years now, used to use dome for 2, and a yr and a half on and off with subs as I relapsed. I'm no doctor but I've used all these drugs a lot and know what the do to me personally, everyone is different but most will relate to this.

Naloxone isn't shit inside the subs. If you take subs with dope in your system it's the subtext that makes you sick and blocks opioid use for 36 hrs. If you just used and you slam a sub the naloxone only then will be effective, not that the bupe wouldn't have done the same thing in a few more minutes. I thing the naloxone gives me head/jaw aches when I use them SL. Because of this I prefer to inject them because it goes a long way.

Day1 After 24 hrs when I was pretty bad I took a half then a half an hour later (weed and benzos will help).
Day2 still around 50% but I worked. I took 2mg in the morn and 2 at night
Day3 this is where the strips are nice... Took 2mg in the morn but 1mg at night
Day4 1 mg as you feel you need it.

It's is only 3 subs and I swear it worked for me. My doc wanted my on this shit forever and I've already been on methadose. Subs don't work for the dose unfortunately unless you get was low like under 5 mg and even then you gotta wait 3-4 days to start subs. I have slammed my subs not for the rush because you get none but it gives my bad head/jaw aches all day and it doesn't happen ass much if you IV it.

Sub/meth doctors have much less problems scripting a benzo (if one has tolerance, knows the effects) if one is on suboxone. Hell, even RB mentions bupe has an advantage because it causes almost no problems with benzos. There's a lot of info out there, from universities too, saying that suboxone and benzos is far from being like benzo + full agonist. Also suboxone has much less chances of causing testosterone drops in one's system.
