Hello all!
Im new to this site to sorry if my post seems off in any way.
Anyway, basically I was using suboxone for about 2 years between 8-16 mg a day for about a year to get over a perc and OC problem I had. About a year and a few months into using it a great "friend" of mine introduced me to IV. so naturally I started doing that pretty much daily for the last 6months to a year I was on the sub. well I wasn't IV more than about 8 mg a day, and that was a day where I was going hard with it. usually it would be between 2-4 mg. I ended up catching a few charges and going to jail for about 3 months so I was cut off cold turkey from the sub and all other drugs. It was pretty rough at first but I got through it and i have managed to stay clean. im about 100 days since my last dose, give or take and i still feel tired ALL the time, no motivation, anxiety, depressed etc. NO real physical problems, and I can sleep through the night but I wake up just so fatigued and regardless of what I eat or do I stay tired. My lawyer got me into my local drug court program and I know thatll keep me clean, they test for everything including sub, dxm, methadone, some antidepressants etc so relapsing is not an option, and not something I would want to do anyway. This is the longest in like seven years ive been clean so im really happy and excited that I have made it this far, I just cant get rid of this relentless fatigue. I need to get a job as a part of the program but simply don't feel like im up to working, and not only that but I just don't have the motivation to look for one. my question is; roughly how long should this fatigue last? I know I cant expect an exact answer like "Oh itll be another 8 days three hours until your good to go", but generally based on everyones experience from quitting sub how long should i expect to be tired? I have a pretty good diet, I eat atleast 5 servings of fruits/veggies daily, not much sugar, not too much meat, I started exercising the other day and I know it could take a while to see the benefits from that but its hard to stay motivated to do that most days when im tired and don't feel like doing anything. Im bored as hell at home so I just want to get a job and have something to do but I don't know how to deal with this.
