Submerging high grade pot in grain alcohol

I have heard a lot about it. I was thinkin bout buying a quarter ounce and a liter of everclear (grain alcohol), and putting the buds in the everclear for 2 to 3 weeks, until the everclear turns dark green (hence all the THC has been extracted from the pot), then simply drain the buds, i guess try smoken em to just see if theres any effect; but primarily just make a sprite and pot-alcohol drink.

i have drank someone elses before, and it got me high and drunk but not paranoid it was awesome, but never tried making pot-alcohol myself. If anyone knows a better way, has experience with it, tried to, failed, success etc, please tell me your take on this.
