Sublingual Salvinorin A

Is this a viable route of administration? Or will only vaporizing the compound be effective?
Salvia can be used in a quid, so I don't see why it wouldn't work, but.. Lemme know. Thanks.

I've heard that the isolated compond is somewhat ineffective in it's ability to absorb through the mucous membranes. There must be something in the plant leaf that acts as a kind of surfactant. Perhaps the phospholipids in the cell membranes of the leaf help disolve the Salvinorin A in salvia and carry it to the mucous membranes.

Although, I doubt many people have experimented extensively with it. I bet if you could extract some pure Salvinorin A, you could get it to be effective by using it with some type of surfactant. Maybe a bit of soy lecithin, or if you have some HPBCD kicking around from your 25x trials you could see how that works.
