I sometimes, like to dose my Alprazolam powder sublingually ( ie. using a micron scooper, then dumping the powder directly under my tongue and let chill there.)

Well, problem is my mouth always starts to salivate when i put the powder under my tongue. Its f*cked up, lol. Is the drug still getting absorbed even while its most likely, in a solution of saliva that i try to keep under my tongue to sit for as long as i can stand.. 15-20 mins or so then just swallow the saliva with water.

Does this "salvation" happen to every one else?

Is this still more effective than just capping the dose of powder and swallowing the capsule?

--Thanks all--

Not a single person will reply.

Why is it that some threads don't receive ANY input, I thought this was a place to come get help.

:(

Alprazolam is poorly soluble in water, it's unlikely it's getting absorbed very much.

Think about holding candle wax under your tongue, or margarine.

It's rapidly absorbed orally, just throw it on your tongue and chase it with soda or whatever.

i just took a bar sublingually and it tasted so awful not worth it never again never again

Like the person above said alprazolam is insanely bitter and just not worth it, just eat em the BA is already high oral. Btw the bitrer taste lingers as well, ughh...
