In my mind. The choices are many, the consequences
I kno how to do sublingual pretty well. But for some reason if I do alprazolam sublingually it doesn't seem to work. I mean at all. I should've swallowed it bc it's always a waste.

However, when I do SL with kpins they kick in within mere minutes n I can really feel them workin. Bonus - they taste great!

Has this happened to anyone else? Where's the logic that one works but the other doesn't via the same ROA?

Alprazolam works for me, totally n completely swallowed, but not SL. So it's not a matter of the alprazolam just not workin for me.

Now kpins I have to take SL every time bc swallowed they don't work.

This is not making very much sense to me.

If you are truly swallowing them even after they have set underneath your tongue, they should still be effectively working.

This sounds incredibly odd. I am prescribed klonopin and have tried SLing them a few times. I've also been prescribed xanax for a brief period of time and have tried SLing those too. Now this is just my personal experience, but SLing them or just taking them PO (orally) is really just the same. Klonopin takes about an hour to have noticeable effects where alprazolam is almost instantaneous. You gotta understand some pills are meant for SLing and some pills are meant to be taken by mouth. For example, subutex film is for sublingual use (even though it is not a pill, you get the main idea). Using a different ROA than what that certain medication is meant for is IMO useless unless of course your IVing dilaudid or something of that nature. I think what really happens when you SL either alprazolam or clonazepam is it still dissolves under your tongue, but you just end up swallowing the dissolved solution. It doesn't really go straight into your blood stream. This is why I am shocked that a SL'd kpin hits you within "mere minutes" as you put it.

Also, what MFG of kpins are you talking about? I get the Teva brand and they just taste like chalk haha.

Sub lingual klonopin will make it kick in faster for me but will also make the half life die down faster. Meaning withdrawals will set in faster, if i just swallow them it's a gradual release but still works.
For xanax i haven't really tried sub lingual but imo, just swallow xanax. It is made to kick in fast and works very well when you swallow it, also the taste is horrible.

^Holy fuck. Lots of Apap in that combo for sure.

I've got experience with SL Valium, Klonopin, Ativan, and Librium (all prescribed). I think SL is mostly a mental thing. You have to consciously focus on not chewing or swallowing the pill. And therein lies the main difference IMO.
