many freebase substances dissolve promptly in ethanol 96%. For instance 25I-NBOME dissolves rather well (at least 5 mg/ml) Thus I was thinking if anyone has experience in using such solution as a sublingual tincture.

Ethanol is immediately absorbed/evaporated in the mouth and probably the freebase could be similarly and immediately absorbed by the mucous tissue. For NBOME's, this might be a good ROA, as the amount to absorb is under 1 mg.

Is this too far fetched? Has anyone tried it?

Ethanol buns quite a lot with even a 40% solution. I would not really want to hold anything stronger in my mouth. I've dissolved MXE in 40% and had good success but I don't think it offers much advantage over water once it's in the mouth.

Hi Transform,

Actually it doesn't. Even 95% pure ethanol, 2 drops under the tongue or in the lower gum hurt about the same as lysterine. You can try it safely.
...but due to the lack of answers I will assume this is unexplored territory. I'll tread carefully

Oh yeah I suppose when it's a couple of drops it's not really an issue, but surely then it's just being diluted so quickly that it's of little use?
