Can't find much info on this...

How does dosage work?
For example, if 40mg is needed orally for desired effect, what should the subcutaneous dose be?
Also, is there a rush like with IV?
Is it even worth it, or might as well just go intravenous?

Any input is appreciated, thanks

No. It will not give the same rush as I.v.

If you have the proper formula to use in that fashion yes, it can be worth it for pain management.

There is an extreme chance of infection if you use filtered pills. Just go with I.V.

Never ever ever subcut a drug unless it is a nurse/dr giving you a shot, and even then they tend to be intramuscular.. your subcutaneous tissue has a terrible blood supply and abscesses are highly likely. IVing is not worth it as Jay said - so subcut is really, really not worth the risk. It has a high oral bioavailability, just eat it (or eat half, snort half if you want insta-gratification..)

Check the IV complications, case studies and micron filtering threads in the OD directory if you are considering using a needle with pills (can't link easily on here but is at top of Other Drugs forum) :)

I have never and will never administer a drug subcutaneously, especially pills. The binders and fillers have a much higher chance of causing infection and other complications. Even if a micron-filter is used, it could still potentially be dangerous. Plus it hurts like hell. I know this from missed shots. As Effie stated, any drug not administered by a registered nurse or physician could be more dangerous when used this way. Pills especially, but even heroin and coke, etc. could be dangerous. You never know how pure it is and what it is cut with.

Any use of a needle other than by a professional could be dangerous. But if you are going to do it, I have always believed IV is the safest way. IM and subcutaneous injections seem to pose a higher threat than IV use. Just my opinion.

There are very few drugs that are supposed to be administered subcutaneously. I've used a drug subcutaneously in the past (GHRP-2); it wasn't a recreational drug though.

As everyone else has said, please do not subcutaneously administer oxycodone.

I don't think there is much to say about this. Even in a sterile hospital setting, there are few drugs which are given this way and often when they are it is a continuous infusion due to the slow absorption.

Don't do it!

Closed, pm me with any queries :)
