I'm in such an intense phase of academic studying, requiring 50 hours a week or more. (Don't ask... it's fucked up.) Yes I have to do this. Yes I have to do well. No, I am not handling it the best right now.

At this point I'm looking at modafinil to burn the candle at both ends while maintaining some semblance of interest, but I need some advice about this. While I find stimulants enhance my interest in things, it tends to be in an unfocused way, and I don't necessarily remember things well. I'm not on the ADD/ADHD spectrum, I have a very neurotypical response to stimulants. So I need to approach this carefully.

Has anyone here had experience with intense studying that was drug enhanced?

I can't afford to suffer from poor memory retention or attention deficit, but I need to be able to work for long hours, have artificially induced "interest" in the subject matter, and not totally burn the fuck out within a week. All things being equal, my health is otherwise good right now. Good diet, solid exercise, I do get outside and touch grass, etc.

So, modafinil? methylphenidate?

I used an enormous amount of Ritalin, Adderall, fake Adderall (methamphetamine), Noopept, Fladrafinil, Modafinil, etc. during college as I was working 40 hours a week, in 5-6 classes per semester, tutoring on the side, DJing/producing on the side, and trying to maintain a romantic relationship and friendships too. I slept 3-4 nights a week if I was lucky. Housing was also irregular and it kept me couchsurfing for a good amount of this period.

When couchsurfing and needing to stay super alert, nothing beats meth or speed. If just studying and in a safe environment, amphetamines are too exhausting, and my recommendation would be Noopept, Fladrafinil, and Ritalin since Modafinil is insanely weak, it's almost useless imo. Noopept is a special gift for focus imo.

I haven't heard of the things you recommended, but I'll look into them. Thanks!!

I'm old school. But, I liked Piracetam as a study enhancer. Piracetam, or any of the other "cetams" (oxiracetam, pramiracetam, etiracetam, etc.) aren't strong stimulants They have focus as their main effect. Too much won't give you the stimulant jitters, it will give you a headache. Noopept seems to be a Piracetam analogue from a quick Google search.
Choline enhances Piracetam considerably.

Along with that, as much sleep as possible, good nutrition, no recreational drugs especially pot.

If you have to control sleep (from staying up too late and being wired), GHB will give 4 hours sleep and an alert wake up. But, it has quickly diminishing returns at a certain point. If you find yourself re-dosing to get 4 hours, you can't use that anymore.

I just want to echo that Piracetam is beautiful, I used to utilize half a dose of it with half a dose of Noopept and it was amazing for studying and tutoring.

@OP, I forgot to mention that noopept is dramatically more potent (therefore you need to buy less) if you insufflate it or administer it sublingually.
