Students Abusing 'Smart Drugs' To Keep Grades Up

i've taken 100x the prescribed' dose of speed'amphetamines', i felt smart, i felt like superman, then i crashed... basically comatose for 3 days....

Amphetamines, smart drugs?! Gotta be kidding. The only stimulant I could really consider a "smart drug" is Modafinil, as it has no recreational effects and little side-effects when you consider how powerful it can be.

ah, but amphetamines also inhibit certain brain functions. .

yes, I find that when I take an amphetamine to do some mental work, like perhaps writing a report, or whatever. My creativity, and flexibility of my thoughts seems to become usually limited. However, because of the heightened alertness and blood flow in the brain, it allows me to find words and details much quicker which in turn allows me to concentrate on the one thought i'm working on. Eventually keeping my attention on task, leading me to finish my work at a much more effective rate.

@trogdor, it works now

sometimes when i make a post it won't work. so i post the first sentence, then keep editing and adding on sentences, until i find which sentence makes it not work, then i edit that sentence. it happens to others too (ive seen posts about it in the support forum)
