sorry if this is in the wrong place.
but..

ive been lifting for almost 2 years and im 17. within the last like 3-4 months ive really started going hard. i used to be a super skinny kid and now i'm reasonably toned. the problem is that i think im going to start to get stretch marks. my armpits are so tight it itches/hurts every time i raise my arms, also my neck is getting freaking huge.

would it be helpful or harmful to stretch? any kind of lotion or somthing that would stop my skin from getting nasty stretch marks? other advice?
thanks

Stretch marks are just like male pattern baldness---if you're genetically prone to getting stretch marks, you will get them...

I have them on both of my armpits, biceps, and triceps from weight training..I don't really mind those because everyone my size gets them...I also have a bunch on my love handles from puberty..those i hate...

I go tanning and this really takes care of them..A lot of people will recommend vitamin E and other lotions but there really is nothing you can do...

^ I was about to try tanning this coming year. I've gone from 120 to 170 and now am back down to 150 or so (remember, I'm only 5'5). Needless to say, I've accumulated some from that changing. I know it's natural, and even a sign of hard work if seen in the right light (not a pun), but it's still a bit embarrassing.

May try tanning to get rid of the ones on my ass and quads. Don't really care about the rest.

damn i thought there would be an easy way to avoid em.

its so annoying to not be able to move without feeling itchy or uncomfortable.

i dont know what the fuck you mean by stretch marks causing you to be itchy or uncomfortable

Bio oil and Cocoa-Butter both work ok... but generally you just have to grin and bare them. I only really get them on my hips, ass and love handles.
