Well I really wish there was something set in stone on this. Everywhere i go (especially erowid) says that stressing the cacti into a purple color by way of water starvation increases potency. I have not yet tried this as i love my plants but i kinda want to. It seems as if there is not enough data to support the whole stressing to increase mescaline content idea. The last few times i tried san pedro it was mild to say the least I was very dissappointed.
