Sometime this afternon I had to dress in very warm clothes and go to bed because I was freezing so badly. This is nothing new, and today it was cold. On top I was busy with work and didn't notice when my feet and legs got cold.

I managed to warm up and everything was fine until about twenty minutes ago, when I started to feel a cold sensation on/in my shins. It's like when you are outside and have cold fingers, then get to warm them up - something between tingling and burning.

The sensation goes from the middle of my shins up to o the knees, and down to the upper side of my feet, and now also the toes.
I have normal sensation of touch and no problem wiggling my toes.

And yes, I do have RLS sometimes, but that's not it.
It's probably just rest cold that's leaving my body or something, but if I Google that I will get lots of articles about diabetes legs and necrosis and whatnot.

So I'm asking you guys:
Anyone who has had a similar thing happening?

It sounds like cramping from the cold. And then alcohol causes swelling and can make it worse. But you do need to stay warm and to keep your blood circulating.

And medicine yes can affect your fluid and systems. That's too much cold. YOu need dry heat, a wood stove. A nice fireplace to keep warm. Maybe would definitely help.

I used to sleep in front of electric heaters.

An electric heating pad might help it ??

Damn, that sounds stressful.

I definitely need some heating device of some sort. Not necessarily a heating blanket, bed's warm at night, what with three dogs? But it's the mornings where I sit at my desk, working.

I'm not a fan of those little electrical heaters, I would need five at least to warm up my living/work room. But I saw a big one with wheel (more expensive, of course) or I might even invest in a gas stove (the best in my opinion).

A fireplace would completely stress me out(I know, I had one and never used it for that reason)

Wear wool honny bonny. It feels so good. ttyl 🔥

oh yeah. stay warm it helps a lot

I've had plenty of pins and needles in my hands and feet from high blood pressure / alcoholic neuropathy, but having it on the shins sounds a bit abnormal to me.

There must be some sort of nerve that runs through the shins.

Is it going through the middle of your leg, or the actual shins, near the surface, on top of the tibia bone?

Have you ever had shin splints from exercise?

it's possibly a compacted spine or something, there must be some nerve that is effected in your case
