Strange effects possibly caused by Clonazepam?

A friend of mine gave me a few pills, and I ingested 1.5mg, 1mg, and .5mg respectively over 3 days. Night two I had been drinking. I have experience with Klonopin, but I've never had these types of effects and I'm wondering if it has to do with the drug or not.

I used to use it daily for two weeks and quit CT, which resulted in some nasty rebound anxiety. After these 3 days of using, as soon as the .5 wore off (and even sometimes while it was in effect) I began to be frightened and panicked by random things. It's almost like I'm hypersensitive. I have an odd sense of impending doom as well. I want to go about my house doing the usual things (play video games, talk to family, etc.) but for some reason I feel like I can't do them. Am I experiencing some sort of weird paradoxical effect?

I used to do way more and come out with less intense (albeit much longer lasting) side effects.

Maybe it's just because I have no tolerance anymore and all of my doses overlapped?

No. This is just a level of anxiety that is unfamiliar to you.

Try to find some valarian root, not leaf and boil a gram or two in two mugs worth of water for between fifteen to twenty minutes on medium heat. Drink the infusion as you see fit.it has anxiolitic and very functional sedative properties that just coast comfortably under the radar.

Chamomile is okay too as a mild anxiolitic sedative but I'm pretty sure I recall the active compound to be apigenin, which to my knowledge off hand was at the very least strongly suspected to be a GABA receptor agonist, if now confirmed. So maybe that wouldn't be wise.

Valarian root you say, where should I look for some of that? You have my interest.

EDIT: I looked it up and it's sold in capsules, is there any noticeable differences between using the capsules over the actual plant? The capsules would be much easier to acquire, there's a drug store right on the corner.

I actually believe it was the alcohol that brought on the intense rebound anxiety and hangover. I tested that theory last night by dosing 1mg just by itself and this morning I woke up with a pleasant afterglow.

I haven't used capsules of the root myself, but I would venture to say they would be just as if not more effective as an infusion would be.

Capsules work fine, ignore the dosing instructions. I've used valerian to stretch benzo scripts occasionally when they screw them up, and just take 5 caps whenever I need to. Valeric acid is the only known natural alkaloid that binds to the BZ receptor, and there's a solid study by the FDA that rated 500mg of valerian equivalent to 10mg of oxazepam. It is something to keep on hand for sure. Quality generally doesn't matter because .. honestly I've taken 20-30 caps a day when I fucked up a klon script and had no ill effects.

The only weird thing it might do if you take huge doses is make your hands and feet feel burny and itchy.
