Storing Prepared Syringes

Hey There
I was wondering one could store prepared pins, and if so for how long, focusing on amphetamines. Would you be able to cook up a shot or two, put the cap back on the needle and then leave them for a day, or longer before using them. Would bacteria get to them making it a not very healthy option or would they be fine. Also I live with my parents so using the fridge isn't really a viable option.

I don't thinks so. After a few hours it will begin to coagulate. When that happens it's no good...

^^That will only happen if there's blood in there. I've saved stuff in syringes before, but I've never held on to it for more than a few hours. However I don't see any reason why it wouldn't keep for a while longer. I could be wrong though. As long as you've got a new rig and keep the lid on it, I don't see a problem.

Hmmm. A couple thoughts. First you can't save it after you have pricked yourself. If you try to shoot and miss you can't keep it for a rainy day you have to shoot right away or as noriega said the blood will coagulate (seval minutes I think not a few hours).
If the syringe is new there won't be any problem with coagulation per se but I would still be worried about things coming out of solution. Especially if you use tap water...tap water left to sit will have shit settle out of it.
If you are using clean water, clean drugs which are extremely water soluble there shouldn't be a problem. Paramedics have prepaired syringes of naloxone for opiate overdoses and I can't see what special provision they would have.

I'd dare say that the paramedics are using a sterile solution, not tap or bottled water (which may carry a microbial load of up to thousands of organisms per mL, and still be considered "safe").
If you're intent on doing this (personally, I wouldn't, especially without a fridge), make sure that you use a sterile solution or boil the water carefully first. Wear gloves and take particular care not to touch the tip of the needle while you're loading it.

If, as quale said, you are using sterile water and clean water soluble drugs, as well as new needles, I think letting them sit for a couple days is probably alright...

Yeah I am using fresh pins and fresh saline for all shots. Its just that a lot of places and parties I go to IV use isnt accepted so I would like to minimise the time taken to shoot so it would just be easier and quicker to have prepared ones handy.

I don't know anything about the health aspects of it, but if you follow the advice mentioned it sounds like you will be ok...but I just wanted to add, if you are taking them to parties becareful about where you store them, like if it's in your pocket pre-loaded and you accidentally bump it, it will shoot some out, even with the cap on it...so just watch out for that so you don't lose anything.

I understand this. My girlfriend does not want me using heroin. So on days I see her, I can't shoot ahead of time because she'll notice my pupils. What I do is prepare a needle using bottled water right before I leave for her house. I tape it to a metal bar under my seat as oppossed to putting it elsewhere to prevent anything from pushing in the plunger. Then I have it ready as soon as I get to my car when I leave her house.
I've left them in my car for up to 6 hours and had absolutely no problems.
The one thing I always make sure to do is shake them really well before I boot up just to ensure that nothing settled and began to form particles again.
