GHB is known to be very hygroscopic (meaning gathers moisture from the air) So, to avoid this "salt puddles" can I store it diluted to a known concentration in distilled water (to avoid Chlorine) how long can I have it stored like that? Does it degrade somehow? I use distilled water to avoid bachterial growth, so...any ideas?
Thanx!

Diego Maradona. Y no hay nada más que hablar.

i knew someone who used to store it in his freezer. (not me; i don't *have* a freezer).. that was fairly strong (possibly concentrated), as obviously a sufficiently dilute mixture would freeze and you don't want that (it would probably survive freezing, unless the bottle burst and you got G-ice all over your frozen carrots...)
i've never looked into it, but it seemed to be stable.
i can't see any fundamental chemical reason why it would be very unstable, and if it's the salt form it won't go back to the lactone (or polymerize)... but store it cold if possible.

I keep my powder in a very airtight plastic bottle with some of those desicant gel thingy bags in it. Have had no problem storing it for up to 9 months.
