Of course, as a research chemical, nobody can give you definite answers. Not that many people have taken it as much as you have to begin with, and even fewer of them have reported back on perceived health problems. There have been some fatality scares in recent months, as a few deaths have been reported as being caused by massive 2C-E overdoses, but I'm not aware of any that were reliably confirmed and at least two deaths that were initially blamed on 2C-E were found to be the result of a mislabeled batch of a much more potent drug being sold as 2C-E (see
this thread for details). Long story short: there's no conclusive evidence that 2C-E can cause death or long-term physical damage on its own.
AFAIK there's no conclusive proof of this (then again, there's virtually no conclusive proof on any of the effects of 2C-E), but there is anecdotal evidence that heavy 2C-E use might cause lasting stomach discomfort, and that snorting 2C-E is probably pretty rough on your nose. I went through a couple grams of -E in a couple months a while back, dosing 2-4 times a week, and the nausea/stomach irritation I got as a constant side effect of 2C-E lingered for a couple months. I still have some minor issues with indigestion/acid reflux, nothing an OTC acid reducer and the occasional Tums can't handle though, and that is certainly at least in part due to poor diet.
Lingering visual distortions are definitely to be expected after using any psychedelic so heavily for so long. Using other drugs will often make those distortions flare up, even months or years later - especially cannabis and MDMA, in my experience. It's nothing to worry about unless you still have significant distortions while completely sober, at least 3 months after your last use of any psychedelic, and the distortions are severe enough to interfere with your daily life; at that point, you might be experiencing HPPD (hallucinogen persisting perception disorder) or flashbacks. In the vast majority of cases, the distortions fade over a few weeks or months, although in many cases they never really go away 100%. I still notice some familiar colorful swirls and geometric patterns in the corner of my eye, or if I stare at a wall long enough, or while my eyes adjust to a sudden change in light levels, but if I don't look for it I don't really notice it. I like to think that my brain is just more creative at filling in those visual gaps where my eyes aren't providing anything useful.
As for the heart concerns, I think that's mainly just that people find it stimulating and have an elevated heart rate while they're actually tripping on it. If you haven't noticed any troubling heart symptoms either while using 2C-E or since you stopped, I wouldn't worry. If you have health insurance, or live in a civilized country where you don't need insurance to get basic medical treatment, you can talk to a doctor and maybe get an EKG just to be sure your heart is good and healthy.
If the lingering visuals don't fade on their own, you can look into HPPD treatment, but in most cases all they can really do is try to lower your stress levels (either through therapy/lifestyle adjustment, or good ole' drugs, typically benzos) and help you learn to cope. As for your heart and overall health, I'd say try and schedule a check-up/physical exam with a doctor in the not-too-distant future, but as long as the doc says you're in good health, there's no sense worrying about it.
