why is it that most daily weed smokers are all super skinny?

even though they really dont do anything

like i smoke weed daily, really all i do is sit all day, get high, and eat. yet i'm super skinny. so no, this is not someone who is ignorant and is stereotyping stoners.
 
in my experience it's because you exert more calories in a day than you consume. i can't even count all the times i've been left starving as fuck without herb only to munch out like mad when i had the shot at a joint and a pizza
 
In my case, I eat very very little until I smoke. I was very skinny before I became a stoner though
 
weed fucks my appetite/eating patterns. i often smoke up at night. i wake up in the morning with no appetite. by lunchtime my appetite gets a little better. however i only eat a lot once evening comes along.
 
I'm a normal, healthy weight for my height. I'm 6'1 and just over 80kg. I smoke bags and bags of weed every week.

I might look super skinny, but that's just because 75% of the other people in the country are fat, slobby bastards who will die between the age of 40 and 55 from lard-induced heart failure or diabetes:)
 
When I smoked bud 24/7 I was skinny as fuck, granted there were periods in that time I also used amphetamines (meth and e) frequently but only a couple times a week not daily, and that was sporadic compared to non stop bong smokage. I lost over 10 kilos within a couple months (I smoked a lot longer than a few months but thats all it took for the weight to drop off me) and put it back on within a couple months of stopping even though I continue to drink and/or take downers every night. My diet wasn't even drastically different when I smoked.

I heard somewhere it speeds up your metabolism, don't know if its true but if past experience is anything to go by I have no trouble believing it.
 
Smoking at night makes me hungry for 3-4 hours, and not hungry the rest of the day... I eat breakfast, no lunch, light dinner, then fruit/nuts to snack on at night. :)

this is the best diet

i realized that i really only eat when i'm high because thats when i only find pleasure out of eating...otherwise i'll feel hungry, just not hungry enough to get food and dont know what i want hahaha.

and i've heard that weed speeds up your metabolism as well so thats what i was thinking.
 
I'm not super skinny, but I am thin.

I smoke weed on a daily basis, and eat healthily, so I stay thin.

Also, the speed of your metabolism plays a big role in how easy or difficult it is to gain or lose weight.

Not everybody on this forum is from your country...

Anyways, my guess is because marijuana can cause minor malnutrition from lots of smoking weed.
 
another skinny stoner here. dont eat much when i haven't smoked, and then when I smoke (few times per day) I just eat a bunch of junk food and fast food :\ . Can't seem to gain weight though (135" 5'8" 17 years old)
 
Hmmm... when i ge some weed and smoke daily I tend to get little ripples on my stomach from fat... than i stop and loose them. Maybe it's what you eat? i dunno... what people do? I dont like eating when Im stoned but my girlfriend becomes a pig so i have to eat with her... :[
 
I've read somewhere long term use of marijuana leads to minor malnutrition, could that cause it? I'm also sorta skinny, 135lbs 5 foot 9 inches
 
I was 130 5'8 at the start of the year, and I smoked previous 4 years... Start kicking up my eating pattern to 3,000 cals a day and lots of gym time... I'm 150ish now and i still smoke ;)

All willpower, baby!
 
in my case i only eat when im stoned, other wise i have no appetite. basically one fatty meal in the evening for dinner then puff till i fall asleep. also i exercise like 2-3 times per week. tall and skinny

when i quit for piss tests a year i gained hella weight cause i had no motivation to exercise and would eat alot. but then when i started tokin again with no tolerance man when the high wears off i seriously would have the most insane munchies eat full fatty bags of chips, pancakes galore gah pancakes and bananas, im so gonna eat that later tonight.
 
i wonder if there's any connection between the mechanism that increases hunger and an increased metabolism. too stoned to google science about it, but it seems like it could be plausible.
