I was wondering if anyone else has proper decent veins in their stomach wall, I dont mean surface veins. The ones I mean r as good as any in ur arms. My Dr told me there shouldn't be veins here n thinks my circulatory system is rerouting. Tho iv battered my body for the last 10 yrs iv always stayed away from femoral and neck as to not do to much damage (such as DVT). Freaking out abit n wondered how common this is

I dunno about veins in the stomach area but I know that when one of your big veins collapses, your body does create new veins to reroute blood flow, unfortunately these veins are usually small, fragile and largely unsuitable for injection. I have had this happen in my arm after one of the veins there collapsed and try as I might I cannot get a register in the new ones.

It is strange that your body would create new veins on your stomach though, unless you were injecting in that area to begin with and collapsed the veins there
