Last few times I've done dxm I have got the worst stomach aches ever. I take the robitussin dm cough gels so the only active ingredient is dxm. I usually space em out like I'll take ten in five mins then ten mins later take the next ten. I have no clue if the pills have got jammed in my stomach or what it is but it killed. When it finally passed the high was great. Just wondering if anyone else has gotten this and what I could do to avoid it.

Used to be into mdma, abused it and now the magics gone and I'm sick of the brutal side effects. Just a drinker now, I like shrooms more than anything but it's really hard to find em now. So when i go out I usually just drink or do shrooms and drink. However if I gotta drive and I can't get anything I can always grab a bottle of those cough pills and have a good night so that's why it's convenient for me. You think too much gelatine would cause a stomach ache?

With "drive" you don't mean driving a car do you?
I always took dxm in gelatine caps and had no problems with nausea or stomach aches.
But i know some people do have those problems.
I suggest eating a little bit about an hour before dosing.
A banana, yoghurt or a sandwich.
Not a heavy meal just a little snack.

Thanks. Last few times I had a big meal 3 or 4 hours before so maybe this will help.

Those gels make me sick too. It's all the other additives/fillers they put in it. "Inactive" ingredients my ass. Can't wait to find some pure dxm.

The reason to not have a big meal is that it could lessen the strenght of the trip/prevent you from tripping or make the comeup very long.
And i suggested a little snack because for some people it eliminates stomach problems.
Give it a try. If it doesn't work for you then you should get pure powder as mentioned by solipsis and rythmspring.

Yeah I get some pretty bad stomach symptoms from the gel caps (and I drain the liquid out of the caps and take a shot of it with a chaser). Cannabis helps, or just throw up.
The main reason I don't like eating much beforehand is because it's more uncomfortable for food to go through your throat in reverse than just liquids...

Iv heard that if you take Dramamine that you shouldnt feel it. Since Dramamine prevents nausea i can see this working well, but i dont know for sure, i plan on trying it soon

I have never had a stomach ache from dxm, but it has given me nausea and vomiting.
+1 on the antihistamines for nausea. Just take a half dose(25mg of diphenhydramine), because the anticholinergic and sedating effects from a full 50mg dose can be undesirable if you are on another drug at the same time.
