I'm the former, looking after the latter with her gear in a timelock box. Brilliant things. When I was really severely fiending she bought me a few off amazon.

I'm feeling more like i need stims (usually mpa but recently base amphetamine) to get all the general life stuff done, i am looking for my own place so that we can hopefully regain our own personalities again - we have two houses worth of stuff in a one bedroom flat right now. I shop and housewife because i need to do those things for myself anyway, so it's become habit for her to do sweet FA apart from opiates. She says she wants to get down to a minimum daily level that's kind of viable to get about on. I tried it and it doesn't do much for me apart from make me grumpy a few hours later! And I always assumed that there was no kind of minimum daily basis dose because of tolerance etc, so i'm trying to devise some kind of taper plan. I just have no experience doing that kind of thing, and wondered what kind of plans other people have used and how it worked out.

I'll sort me out later. I am under the care of the nhs in the uk and have meds for my depression and anxiety and i'm trying to see if we can work out any appropriate talking therapy. This is all available for opiegirl but i can't even get her out to register with the doctor at the moment, and it's that stupid three weeks of the year when everything gets screwed around by the holidays.

So in summary, any advice about coming off heroin/opiates generally is appreciated but taper plans are my focus. Then laundry into dryer and going to bed myself! :)

Thanks for moving me! Felt pretty dark last night, eesh! Today is looking better and i devised my own plan of taking the same amount over an increasing amount of days which is backwards i suppose but to the same effect...

Last two times I have ceased using opiate pain management for example because going through succesful surgery before something breaks again I have used to skip days and to use 3/4 of the original daily dose until I use every thirdth day.

From there on I'll drop to 1/2 dose and 1/4 dose and after that I'll start to decrease 10mg until I reach to zero.

Works well even though my use has been quite high. Last time I was on 180mg oxycodone per day and had tolerance of 260mg single dose to get myself nodding.

No WDs except a diarrhea and a month of lethargy.

A month of lethargy sounds like it'll feel ten times as long! But thankyou i may well mark the end of jan as a comparison/reflection point for her. I'm not expecting to get off as lightly, i've heard stimulant abuse can cause lethargy for months or even years! But forewarned is forearmed and if anyone has any experience in THAT area i'd love to copy it into my recovery notebook, thank you! :)
