Stimulant tolerance

Okay so I have been using 40mg of generic adderal everyday of this week for school, because exams are coming next week. I have been crushing up 2 20mg capsules and snorting them, they last about the whole school day.

Tomorrow I am getting 6 methylin pills (the blue ones, I believe they are 10mg?) anyways I was wondering about how this generic ritalin will compare with the generic adderal? Also how many methylin should I crush and snort to achieve a high that would be comparable or stronger than the 40mg of amphetamine salts that I am used to?

What do you want to know? Dose equivalence?

Also, use the proper chemical name, not all brands are available everywhere. I've personally never heard of methylin before.

According to google, methylin is methylphenidate. (Just looked). There are 2 threads on the front of this page about ethylphenidate and methylphenidate...

Sorry, yes it is indeed methylphenidate. I would like to know how much methylphenidate (snorted) is equal to 40mg amphetamine salts

Methylphenidate is approximately 1/2 the strength of Adderall.

This doesnt mean that snorting 80mg of methylphenidate will be the same as 40mg of Adderall. You may get similar benefits, but the two drugs do not work in identical ways, thus producing effects that differ from each other. The dosing is based on the equivalent dose that is used to manage add/adhd.
